SPORT VILLAGE IL CIOCCO
The Sports Village is nestled in the lush vegetation between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, in the tranquility of the valley. The facility boasts this great new location, perfect for enjoying your favourite sport and cultivating your passion away from the hustle and bustle of the city, 700 metres above sea level.
The Sports Village is made up of cozy wooden cabins, composed of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room with kitchen, single entrance and heated during the winter. Each cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests, some may even have 6 sleeping arrangements.
A football pitch, horse stables and other sports facilities are located a few dozen metres away from the Cabins. The facility, considered a "0km Inn", pays particular attention to local culinary traditions and prepares snacks and meals for its guests.
The inn is a great hang-out if you want to grab a hot meal or drink along the way and during sports activities.All dishes are prepared with local and seasonal products, respecting the traditions of the Garfagnana cuisine. The inn is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the autumn and winter months, except for reservations.It is always open in the summer, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are endless possibilities for having fun and for athletic preparations at the different professional sports facilities such as: Football pitch stadium, regulated football pitch, tennis centre, gym with wood flooring, five-a-side football pitch, basketball court, volleyball court along with athletic retreats for sports teams. In other words, an area dedicated to sports open all year round.
