Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) training camp

Castel San Pietro Terme, on the border between Emilia and Romagna, is a town renowned for its spa, the brand new 18-hole golf course and the equestrian center. The origin of the thermal treatments in Castel San Pietro dates back to 1337, although the first real thermal establishment was built in 1870. Even then it was characterized by a scientific, totally medical approach.

We are near Imola, land of Motors, where speed and technique come together to give life to the thrill of a roar on the asphalt. Companies that excel in the creation of cars and motorcycles, events that are inevitable for enthusiasts. And the Imola racetrack, an exciting place that has marked the history of racing cars and motorcycles.

For 10 minute walk workouts we have: PALA RUGGI is a sports facility located in the center of Imola which includes the sports hall (2000 seats), two swimming pools (one of which is outdoor, Olympic size) and some gyms.

It was inaugurated in 1970, and over the years it has become the home of the three main Imola basketball teams, Andrea Costa, Virtus and more recently also of the "new" Grifo Basket Imola. It was refurbished in 2012. Training is usually from September to May with various clubs, in addition to the school. 'Nicola Calipari' sports center managed by the A.C. Tozzona Pedagna is located in via John Lennon 1 in Imola in the Pedagna district.

The center includes four football fields:

- the central court, 105x68m, used by the first team for home games and equipped with a grandstand with a capacity of 550 seats;

- an adjacent field, 105x68m, which is used for training and matches in the youth sector and is also equipped with a sand basin divided into two parts, one usable for soccer-tennis and one for working over distances up to 40m

- a small synthetic field, 65x42m, used for training and matches in the Pulcini category, both at 7 and at 9;

- a small field, 40x20m, used for the games of the First Kicks at 5 category. The facility is also equipped with four changing rooms available to the various teams, a dressing room available to the referee, a medical room, some offices and bar service.

The A.C. Finally, Tozzona Pedagna can have a gym located a few meters from the plant used by the company for training in the Piccoli Amici and Pulcini categories during the winter season.
